Metatorus Mixed Media

Metatorus loosely translated means "beyond the tube". It is a word that I invented to describe my technique of creating with discarded bicycle inner-tubes and my attraction to all things circular. It has evolved to include many different media and techniques as I continue to explore my interest with up-cycling and making stuff with found objects and detritus, most recently cutting and collaging vintage bird prints from Audubon's Birds of North America ©1941.
